Saving money is just plain smart, but you also need to save it with purpose, usefulness and saving your own sanity to boot!

Look twice, and save!

Look twice, and save!

Less than a year ago I purchased a new home. I’ve been going hog wild trying to make this house a home if you know what I mean… A few weeks ago I purchased a patio set online that was on sale at Home Depot. The patio set was on back order, and it was to ship in about a weeks’ time. A week passed, and I haven’t heard a word about what’s going on.
I logged into my account to see if there was a change in the delivery date, and sure enough, the date for arrival has changed. I then went to take a quick look at the patio set online, and to my surprise, the patio set was marked down lower yet!
I called Home Depot, and asked them if they would honor that sale price since I already had made the purchase. Without question, Vincent from Home Depot was going to give me the new sale price! That just saved me another $55!
10 minutes on the phone with Home Depot saved me that $55.00. Looking twice at times can save you some money, and best of all… I didn’t have to clip a coupon either!
